Zuleika and Stuart - Yosemite Elopement

Zuleika and Stuart came from Scotland to marry in Yosemite valley. They are truly beautiful people, both inside and out. John Paris officiated a beautiful ceremony in the shadows of Yosemite Falls and embraked on a photo safari from there. They wanted the photos to be geared more towards art and gave me free range to create. Together we travel through Yosemite, experiencing different light, lines and even weather :) We eventually found ourselves up at Tenya Lake and Olmstead Point to enjoy the breath taking views. I love what I do!
I only found out after taking this photo that Stuart is in a band - although I should have known he was a rockstar from this photo.

Zuleika's dress was gorgeous. Beautiful colors and textures.
One of my favorites from the day, it made a long drive very worthwhile!

Stuart and I arrived back yesterday to our home in Edinburgh, and just
wanted to say thank you so much for all the effort you went to at our
wedding and after to produce such an amazing set of photos of the day.
We are so very pleased with all of them, and although we expected them
to be good (based on your previous work) we were completely bowled over
when we saw them; they are truly beautiful! We really enjoyed spending
the day with you, and got to see parts of Yosemite that I am sure we
would not have seen otherwise; the photo shoot really became a memorable
and fun part of the day. The images not only capture just how amazing
Yosemite is, but you also really did capture Stuart and I in a way that
reflects our personalities. Thank you for going that extra mile (quite
literally!) for us, and for making our day so special. We are delighted
to have such a wonderful record of our wedding day for future years.
